Grace Fellowship is a Biblically based, non-denominational Christian church in Lake City, Colorado. Our mission statement is a simple one: Love Jesus, love who Jesus loves, and love the mission of Jesus. Whether you live in Lake City year-round, or are just passing through, we invite you to come share in what God is doing.
Come As You Are Environment.… no need to dress up. Our services last about two hours, and they are very conversational and engaging for people of any age.
As a missional church, we aspire to be well integrated into our community through a structure of smaller groups that meet in homes throughout Lake City. These groups are typically from 10 to 15 persons, and create a friendly, family atmosphere, in which all are welcome.
Some days it's hard to get church started, as people are just having too much fun chatting and catching up. We are a community, and you will often find us doing life together, breaking bread and praying for each other and others, both inside and outside of a formal church meeting.
We believe that God intends all of us to worship together and learn of Him together as much as possible. Thus, we work hard to find creative ways to incorporate entire families into our meetings. This can be challenging but is refreshingly enriching as well.
We invite God to move in our hearts as we worship Him through singing. When we sing, we sing TO God, not just about Him. We believe that God meets us in a special way when we come together in worship.
We teach the Bible in ways that relate to everyday life. We believe that the teaching of God’s Word should always lead us into deeper relationship with God and greater faith in Him and equip us for His mission for us as His people. We desire for our teaching to grow you closer towards Jesus and into all that God has created you to be as a person “on mission” in Christ’s church.
Any group of people can gather together and call it community and fellowship, but we believe a gathering of the saints must include Holy Spirit and everything He may bring to a gathering. It is His church, and so we try to allow Him the freedom to lead, and we do our best to follow His lead.
Ministry starts inside the church. Ultimately ministry must progress outside of the church, but we learn the greatest and hardest parts of ministry by engaging well with one another. Grace Fellowship is a congregation that loves solid scriptural teaching, prayer, outreach, the prophetic, healing, inner healing, deliverance and co-laboring and doing ministry shoulder to shoulder with the living God, so that we may learn to impact those around us and those across the globe.
Part of Grace Fellowship's DNA has always been in missions: going on trips, supporting missionaries, and sending out new ones. Jesus and the twelve lived their lives on the road, engaging with those who did not know the route to salvation, healing and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom. That call is 2000 years old and has not changed.
